Can you see the Alps from the Feldberg?<\/h2>\n

Yes, you can see the Alps from the Feldberg in the Black Forest on a clear day. It is considered one of the best vantage points in the German low mountain ranges for overlooking the Alps. <\/p>\n

The view of the Alps is particularly good in inversion weather conditions, when there is fog in the valleys and the air is clear at higher altitudes. The view extends over a horizon line of up to 360 kilometers and in very good conditions you can see peaks such as Mont Blanc in the west, which is around 240 kilometers away, and the Zugspitze in the east. <\/p>\n

How far can you see from the Feldberg in the Black Forest?<\/h2>\n

On particularly clear days, the view from the Feldberg extends far beyond the Black Forest. In addition to the Rhine plain and the Vosges mountains, you can even make out the Swiss Alps<\/strong> on the horizon – despite the distance of over 150 kilometers. <\/p>\n

The snow-covered peaks then seem close enough to touch. The Bernese Alps with the Eiger, M\u00f6nch and Jungfrau are particularly striking. <\/p>\n
